Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL / T-SQL Developer with strong expertise in database development, data warehousing, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PostgreSQL, PL/pgSQL development, SQL Server, and T-SQL logic migration, along with strong skills in database performance tuning and large-scale data environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain database logic using PL/pgSQL in PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement stored procedures, functions, and complex SQL queries.
• Work on T-SQL logic and support migration from SQL Server to PostgreSQL.
• Implement robust error handling and exception management in database code.
• Develop data warehouse queries using advanced SQL functions such as Rollup, Cube, and Grouping Sets.
• Perform database performance tuning and query optimization to improve system efficiency.
• Design and maintain database schemas, tables, and relationships.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production-level database issues.
• Collaborate with development and data teams to deliver efficient database solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in database development.
• Strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL development.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL logic/migration.
• Strong expertise in database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and advanced SQL aggregations (Rollup, Cube, Grouping Sets).
• Strong knowledge of error handling and exception management in database programming.
• Hands-on experience with database schema design and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
